FIAW_S1

Sorry for the long-time short-update, lot of problems. I tried just re-creating off of old scripts but at the end of the day I had to completely start fresh. This will actually be a little bit of a big deal for me because for the old Network Code I had actually followed a tutorial to help me out with parts of it, so doing it all on my own will be pretty exiting!

Right now the player can turn left, right, and see eachother in the world. That's it.

I would also have a beta-character model ready for you, but after Modeling, Texturing, and animating the character (Not having saved the whole time) the modeling software crashed, so the playermodel is completely lost. Hopefully I can make something new, but talk about annoying!

FIAW (Scrap)

The "Feather in a Wasteland" Project (MMO) or FIAW is being scraped and re-created. The reason being is that the game is too realistic in terms of graphics, for an MMO it needs to be down-played so that it can be played on low-end PC's without lagging. So the focus will be more graphics like that of SMITE, Borderlands, League Of Legends, Dota, WoW, etc.

The network code was also a bit rushed and glitchy so re-working the game is fine.

I am borrowing the Network Code from one of my other games, and going to work off of that so the networking is pretty much to be considered done from the start. The project will now contain an "S" to represent "Scraped" to show that this is the new version, rather than going FIAW_4 for the next update it will be FIAW_S1 to show that this is technically the same game just re-created, because all other updates are irrelevant now.

I also wanted to get this post in to show that the development of the game is still active, and that multiple assets of the game have even been planned out to speed up development & get ideas for it flowing!

FIAW Realism or Not?

I wanted to go for realistic, but my problem is that I am used to using a Really bad computer and so I want this game to be compatible with a lot of low-end PC's, but I don't want the graphics to be unturned, so should I go for more realistic or more broad-based?

That's all this post is, sorry for lack of Update (Just got Arma 3) been playing it a lot :3
